Marrell Louis Monger, infant, died July 3, 2012 at St. Mary’s
Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary
with burial to follow at Palisade Cemetery.
Survivors include parents, Levi R. and Kylee J. Monger of Grand
Junction; one brother, Logan Monger of Grand Junction; one sister,
Madison Monger of Grand Junction; and grandparents, Eric
Noblitt of Grand Junction, Ross Monger of Clifton, Kimberly
Noblitt of Grand Junction and Micky Monger of New Castle.

Marrell’s Secret, I’m just a little girl who didn’t quite make it
there. I went straight to be with Jesus, but I’m waiting for you here.
Don’t fret about me, Mommy, I’m alright and am most blessed.
Many dwelling here where I live, waited years to enter in; struggled
through a world of sorrow and their lives were marred with sin. So
sweet Mommy, don’t you sorrow, wipe those tears and chase the
gloom; I went straight to Jesus’ bosom from my lovely mother’s
womb. Daddy gave me something for you, it’s our secret, Mommy
Dear; pressed tight against my forehead, whispered in my tiny ear.
I’ll be waiting for you, Mommy, you and Daddy, and all the rest. I’ll
be with you then, forever, and I’ll give you Daddy’s kiss.
Marrell is survived by her Daddy and Mommy, Levi and Kylee
Monger; big brother, Logan and big sister, Madison Monger of
Grand Junction; aunt and uncles, Matt Monger; Branson Monger
(cousin, Isack Monger) of New Castle; Clayton Noblitt and Cory
Dehning of Grand Junction; Matt Noblitt and Mandy
Noblitt-Higgenbotham of Hutsonville, IL; grandparents, Ross Monger
of Clifton; Micky Monger of New Castle, Kimberly Noblitt of
Grand Junction, and Eric Noblitt of Grand Junction; great-grandparents
are Louis and Sharon Bartlett of Tulsa, OK; Cecil Monger of
Mack; Viola Gale of Grand Junction, and Barbra Chesney of Fruita.
Marrell was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Mitchell
Chesney.
A funeral service for Marrell is planned for July 9, 2012, at 2:00
p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Burial will follow at Palisade
Cemetery.
