Daniel Christopher Marques
“Dizz” joined his father on July 4,
2012, at the young age of 38.
Danny was born to Raymond C.
Marques II and Georgia C.
Christopher on July 6, 1972, in
Los Angeles, CA. He was the
second of three children, brother,
Ray C. Marques III and sister, Regina Catherine Stonewall.
On August 11, 1997, Daniel married his high school sweetheart,
Linda Emiliana Romero, and they were blessed with three beautiful
children, Antoinette, Dionysia, and Daniel Jr. He was also expecting
his first grandchild. Daniel and Linda lived 22 years together in
Grand Junction, Colorado.
Daniel, who was always drawing as a boy, carried his love of art
into adulthood. Danny created amazing artwork by tattoo and airbrush
that were widely admired. He loved playing softball, basketball,
and at times had been referred to as 'Pool Shark Marques', for
his billiards skill. He could often be found barbequing and spending
time with his family and countless friends.
Daniel was a devoted and cherished husband, brother, father, and
son. The loyalty Danny showed his friends could be called nothing
less than unwavering.
Daniel’s presence will be missed, but he will always be with us.
His smile and laughter seen and heard through his children's voices.
We love you Danny, and we will see you again.
A fund has been established to help the family through this difficult
time at Wells Fargo called the Daniel Marques Memorial Fund
