Jo Ann Koler, 58, Grand Junction, died July 9,
2012, at her home in Gilbert, Ariz.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a rosary at 7
p.m., Sunday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate
Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include husband Keith; one daughter,
Kristin Shrum of Gilbert; her father, Dwight
Theobald of Red Cloud, Neb.; four brothers, Tom
Theobald of Sioux Falls, S.D., Don Theobald of
Red Cloud, Ted Theobald of Casper, Wyo., and
Dan Theobald of Kearny, Neb.; two sisters. Jane
McClelland and Jeri Peterson, both of Denver;
and one grandchild.

Jo Ann Koler was born in Lincoln,
NE to Elizabeth (Keane) and
Dwight Theobald, but grew up
and graduated in Red Cloud, NE.
She passed away on July 9, 2012,
in her home in Gilbert, Arizona
from lung cancer.
Jo Ann and her little family
moved to Grand Junction, CO in
1981. She worked at Palisade
Clinic for many years. She also worked as the Volunteer Coordinator
at St. Mary's Hospital for many more years. She became a devoted
grandmother in 2008, and spent as much time as she could
with her granddaughter in Colorado and Arizona.
She is predeceased by her mom, Elizabeth. She is survived by her
husband, Keith Koler of Grand Junction, CO; her daughter, Kristin
Shrum; her son-in-law, David Shrum, and her granddaughter,
Brooke Shrum all of Gilbert, AZ; her dad, Dwight Theobald of Red
Cloud, NE; her sisters, Jane (Tom) McClelland and Jeri (Brad)
Peterson of Denver, CO; her brothers, Tom (Kristi) Theobald of
Sioux Falls, SD; Don (Teri) Theobald of Red Cloud, NE; Ted
(JoAnne) Theobald of Casper. WY, and Dan (Cynthia) Theobald of
Kearny. NE.
Jo Ann's funeral will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic
Church in Grand Junction on Monday, July 16, at 10:30a.m. A
viewing will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary from 5 - 7:00
p.m., Sunday, July 15, at Callahan Edfast Mortuary. The Rosary will
follow the viewing at 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
