Mary Minholz passed away July 7, 2012, at Hospice and Palliative
Care in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Mary was born in Poughkeepsie, New York to Annie and Edward
Allers. She married David S. Minholz in 1949, and they resided in
Poughkeepsie for many years. Mary taught Sunday School at the
Episcopal Church in Poughkeepsie, was a homemaker, worked as a
secretary for Wallace Co. in Poughkeepsie, as a drug store manager
in Wappingers Falls, and as a bakery store manager in High Point,
N.C. She enjoyed bridge, crafts, knitting and crocheting, her many
friends, and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David;
eight sisters and six brothers. She is survived by son, David F. Minholz,
Grand Junction, Colorado; daughter, Cathy A. (Robert) Frandsen
of Fruita, Colorado; nieces and nephews, and honorary granddaughters,
Erin and Andrea Wilcox.
A special thanks to Dr. Charles Rademacher, her family doctor and
true friend since she moved to Grand Junction in 1994.
Funeral services will be provided by Callahan-Edfast Mortuary,
Grand Junction, on July 13, 2012. Visitation hours are 9 - 10:00
a.m., followed by services at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice
and Palliative Care of Western Colorado, Grand Junction, Colorado.

Mary F. Minholz, 81, Grand Junction, died July 7, 2012, at Hospice
Care Center.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will
be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Ms. Minholz was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, David F. of Grand Junction; and one
daughter, Cathy Frandsen of Fruita.
