Lois Arlene Fiscus

Lois Arlene Fiscus died August
1, 2012.
Lois was born April 3, 1917, to
Leslie and Lucy (Gillaspie) Felker
in New Raymer, Colorado.
When Lois first met Donald
(Mike) Fiscus, they were in grade
school. They knew they were
meant to be together. Lois and
Mi k e w e r e ma r r i e d i n G r a n d
Junction, Colorado, on September 24, 1938. Over their 74 years together,
they shared their home with Lois' mother, Lucy Felker, and
welcomed four children into their lives.
Lois was an accountant/bookkeeper for a number of individuals
and companies. She and Mike enjoyed traveling, camping in the
mountains and spending time in Apache Junction, Arizona.
Her greatest pride and joys were her family. Over the years, Lois
was also "mother" to a number of neighborhood children.
Lois is survived by her husband, Mike; her four children, Don
(Gayle) Fiscus, Marilyn Petek, Raymond Fiscus, and Jane Rarick.
She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memorial
Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Lois requested that donations be given in her
