Beverly A. Liddle, 70, a longtime resident of Steamboat Springs, passed away Jan. 3, 2012, at her home after a long illness.
Born in Hudson Falls, N.Y., on Feb. 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Merritt and Ruth (Huggins) Reynolds Sr.
She grew up in Hartford, N.Y., and graduated from Argyle High School in 1958. On Oct. 10, 1959, Beverly married the love of her life, Robert Liddle, in Hartford.
She moved to Steamboat Springs in 1969 with Robert, Chris and Jeff. There, she worked for Lyon Drug Store as a bookkeeper for many years.
Beverly was a loving wife and mother. She was known for her bubbly personality and a never-ending sense of humor that will be greatly missed by everyone.
Besides her parents, Beverly is predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Ruth Reynolds and Eleanor McClenning.
Survivors include her adoring husband of 52 years, Robert; her children, Christopher Liddle and his wife, Jan, of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Jeffrey Liddle and his wife, MerriAnn, of Gunnison; grandchildren Lucas, Beverly, Robert and Jonathan Liddle; two brothers, Merritt Reynolds Jr. and his wife, Naomi, of Argyle, N.Y., and Robert Reynolds and his wife, Betty, of Argyle; two sisters, Carolyn Getty, of Hebron, N.Y., and Shirley Robertson, of Greenwich, N.Y.; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral was at 11 a.m. Jan. 14, 2012, at the funeral home. A burial will be in the spring at the family’s convenience at Morningside Cemetery in Hartford. For online condolences, visit www.kilmerfuneralhome.com.

A celebration of life for Beverly Liddle is at 3 p.m. Jan. 28, 2012, at the Lowell Whiteman Primary School fellowship hall, 818 Oak St. In addition to a slide show, there will be time for people to share stories and memories about Bev.
