Audrey June (Dove) Dailey
September 8, 1936 – August 2, 2012
Audrey June (Dove) Dailey of Grand Junction died of natural
causes peacefully in her home after a long illness. A memorial service
will be announced at a later date so that out of town family may
attend.
Audrey was born on September 8, 1936, to Margaret and Elmer
Dove of Hotchkiss. She spent her childhood in Hotchkiss and graduated
from Hotchkiss High School in 1954. She met her husband Burl
in Delta, and they were married March 17, 1956.
From 1966 to 1980, she spent eight years living abroad in Benghazi
and Tripoli, Libya with her husband and three children. The
family also lived in Saudia Arabia and Houston, Texas. They moved
back to Grand Junction permanently in 1980.
Audrey is survived by her husband, Burl; her son Burke, his wife,
Sue and their two children, Nicholas and Abigail of Grand Junction
and her daughter, Tami Degnan, her husband, Pat and their daughter,
Lindsay of Lancaster, California. She is also survived by her two
brothers, Donald and Orlan Dove and their wives, Bernita and Joan,
and her aunt, Hazel Branom, who all reside in Grand Junction. She
was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Diehl.
Audrey was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister as
well as a good friend to many. She will be deeply missed be her
family and friends.

home.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 28 at Martin Mortuary.
Survivors include her husband, Burl; one son, Burke of Grand
Junction; one daughter, Tami Degnan of Lancaster, Calif.; two
brothers, Donald and Orlan Dove, both of Grand Junction; and
three grandchildren.
