Conne Simpson, 64, Cedaredge, died May 16, 2012, at Delta
County Memorial Hospital.
Services have taken place.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; two sons, Keith and Jeff;
one brother, Kim Smiley; one sister, Rynda Parrott; six grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.

Conne Simpson went to be with Jesus on May 16, 2012, six days before her 65th birthday. Conne is survived by her husband, Ken; her brother Kim Smiley; her sister Rynda Parrott; her two sons, Keith and Jeff; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Conne was a former dispatcher for the Steamboat Springs Police Department and Routt County Sheriff’s Office. Conne and her husband, Ken, owned the downtown Conoco gas station from 1972 to 1977. They started Sunshine Mountain Towing in 1977 and owned the Big A Auto Parts Store from 1989 to 1997. They moved to Cedaredge in 1997 and purchased the Grand Mesa Lodge from Chuck and Jan Harrington. They sold the lodge in June 2011 to Mike and Rose Wenner. Ken still is operating the Ole Bakery Cafe in Cedaredge and can be reached at 320 N.E. Fourth St., Cedaredge, CO 81413.
A memorial service was held May 21, 2012, at Pioneer Town in Cedaredge. The family wants to thank all who attended and hopes they were all blessed by knowing Conne.
