Nettie Lou Chastain McIntosh, 80, Fruita, died June 1, 2012,
at Family Health West.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grand Junction Memorial
Gardens.
Ms. McIntosh was a nurse.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Lawrence and Michael Moore;
one daughter, Carol Murphy; one sister, Bernice Vanzant; five
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Nettie Lou Chastain McIntosh was called home by her Heavenly
Father June 1, 2012. Born August 6, 1931, in Fruitvale, Colorado,
she was the youngest child born to P. G. and Leah Victoria Henley
Chastain.
Nettie Lou enjoyed her nursing career, working at several doctors'
offices, hospitals, and nursing homes in the valley throughout the
years. She had a feisty spirit which she maintained until the end.
She is survived by sons, Larry Lawrence and Michael Moore;
daughter, Carol (John) Lawrence; sister, Bernice Chastain Vanzant;
f i v e g r a n d c h i l d r e n ; 1 1 g r e a t - g r a n d c h i l d r e n , a n d o n e
great-great-granddaughter, as well as many nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will take place Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at
Grand Junction Memorial Gardens beginning at 1:00 p.m. Condolences
