George Young, father of Mrs. C.F. Wiltsey, passed away Tuesday, Mch. 16 at his daughter's home on Piney.
Mr. Young was born at Portsmouth, Ohio on Nov. 10, 1866, and was 76 years old at the time of his death. He was united in marriage to Florence Oren at Portsmouth in 1894. Eight years later the family came to Colorado where they settled at Niwat, where with his wife and three children, Edna, Sadie and Mildred, he made his home. Mrs. Young died in 1912.
The deceased is survived by a daughter, Edna Wiltsey; four grandchildren, Frank Wiltsey, Virginia Forster, Ernest and Shirley Wiltsey; three great grandchildren, a brother of Longmont, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Eagle this Friday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. O.F. Archer. The body was taken to Niwot by Mortician Paul Andre, for burial beside that of his wife.
