Maurice Young, 35, was killed Tuesday when a tree which he was felling fell upon him, causing death.

Young was employed by Ray Warren who has a logging camp on Weariman creek near Red Cliff, and was alone at the time of his death, being discovered lying under the tree shortly after he met his death.

Mr. Young is survived by his widow and two small children. He had been working for Mr. Warren less than one month, coming to Red Cliff from New Castle. The body was returned to New Castle for burial.
