Village Assisted Living. She was
97.
A Prayer Service will be held at
10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 11,
2012, in St. Joseph Chapel at St.
Mary Catholic Church, 6853 South Prince St., Littleton, CO.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12,
2012, at the Calvary Cemetery in Grand Junction.
Mrs. Chiodo was born on March 2, 1915, at Green River, Utah to
Malcolm and Rose Politano. She married Frank Chiodo on March
27, 1932, in Price, Utah. Frank and Florence shared over for 60
years of marriage together prior to Frank's death on September 16,
1992. Florence loved spending time with her family, cooking,
needle work, crocheting afghans to give to her family who she treasured
as most important in her life. She was a member of St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in Grand Junction and attended St. Mary's
Catholic Church in Littleton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her son, Ken
Chiodo, and son-in-law, Jim Dawson. Florence is survived and
loved by her daughter, Joan Dawson; daughter-in-law, Judy Chiodo;
grandchildren, Michael (Sue) Dawson, Scott (Teresa) Dawson, Gary
(Sara) Dawson, Jill (Kurt) Mills and Shelley (Steven) Lucas, as well
as nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
