Reuben Zarela, an employee of the Empire Zinc company at GIlman for the past eight years, died of pneumonia at the Gilman hospital Friday, April 13. Zarela is survived by his widow and six children.

The body was cared for by Mortician O.W. Meyer of Red Cliff and shipped to Vadito, N.M. for burial.
