Hank was born on December 27,
1924, in Wallins Creek, Kentucky
to James Henry and Era
Belle Johnson. After a brief illness,
Hank went home to be with
his Lord and Savior on November
27, 2012, in Aurora, Colorado.
Hank grew up in Oak Creek,
Colorado and was married there
on November 3, 1946, to the love
of his life, Helen Louise Zulevich.
He served his country in WWII as
a tail gunner in the U. S. Army
Air Corp. After his service in the
military, Hank and his family had
the opportunity to move to Grand
Junction, CO, where he was employed
as an electromechanic for
the Federal Aviation Administration
until his retirement. He loved
living in Grand Junction and resided
here for 50 years.
Upon retirement, he owned and operated "Hank's Garage". He en -
joyed using his mechanical skills fixing cars and interacting with
people. He always loved playing guitar and singing country music
and frequently played in local bands and performing with his sister,
Carol. He was an avid reader and in his latter years took up painting.
Hank is survived by his daughters, Margie (Neil) Peters of Centennial,
CO, and Barbara (Stan) Muhr of Grand Junction, CO; his
brother, Eddy (Phyllis) Johnson of Billings, MT, and sister, Carol
Rose Crain of Meeker, CO. He has four grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers,
Teddy Johnson, and Cecil Johnson and sister, Edith Shrader.
Services will he held on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 2:00 p. m. at
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers any memorial contributions may be sent to Roice-
Hurst Humane Society.

Henry L. Johnson, 87, Aurora, died Nov. 27, 2012, at the Colorado
State Veterans Home in Aurora.
Visitation is at 1 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Friday at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary. Burial will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was an electro-mechanic with the Federal Aviation
Administration.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Muhr of Grand Junction
and Margaret Peters of Centennial; one brother, Eddie of Billings,
Mont.; one sister, Carol Rose Crain of Meeker; four grandchildren;
and seven great-grandchildren.

Hank was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Wallins Creek, Ky., to James Henry and Era Belle Johnson. After a brief illness, Hank went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 27, 2012, in Aurora.
Hank grew up in Oak Creek and was married there Nov. 3, 1946, to the love of his life, Helen Louise Zulevich. He served his country in World War II as a tail gunner in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
