Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fessler lost a second foster son in a car accident last week when Staff Sgt. Roy Zatarain, 26, was killed at Huntsville, Ala. August 4.

Another foster son, Bob Terry, was killed in a car accident on Brush Creek road south of Eagle several months ago.

Sgt. Zatarain was born February 3, 1945 at Kansas City, Kan. and spent his childhood at Ft. Lupton. He had been a resident of Eagle four years.

He was married to Linda Jo Johnson in Brighton Aug. 18, 1965. His wife survives.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1966, and had served in Vietnam 15 months prior to being stationed at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala.

He is also survived by his foster parents, Harold and Frances Fessler, owners of the Eagle Bar and Cafe; one brother, Ronald Zatarain of Boulder and two foster brothers, Eddie Conover of Fort Lupton and Frank Knox of Nebraska.

Funeral services were conducted at the Eagle Methodist Church Monday, August 9, and burial was in Sunset View Cemetery, Eagle.
