Funeral services were held in the St. Mary's Catholic Church January 14 for Ysidro Zavala, 66, who died of a heart attack in his home January 10.

Father Joseph Leberer officiated at the funeral service, which was directed by Bowman Funeral Chapel of Eagle. Burial was in the Eagle cemetery.

Mr. Zavala made his home in Eagle since retiring from the D&RG railroad. Prior to moving here he had made his home in Gypsum where he was section boss for the railroad company.

He was born in Mexico Oct. 7. 1889.

Mr. Zavala is survived by several daughters: Eva, Christina, Lupe, Rafaela, ROsa, Angelina, and Carmen and two sons, Adam and Ysidro, Jr. and his wife, Angela.
