Funeral services for Wilfred T. Zimmerman of Eagle were held Tuesday, April 16, at Mount Olive Cemetery in Denver.
He died at the Vail Valley Medical Center on Friday, April 12, after suffering a severe heart attack. He was 68.
Mr. Zimmerman was born Aug. 17, 1916 in Kansas, where he was raised and educated. For years he worked in the moving and storage business in Denver. He also worked for the Cherry Creek School District.
He moved to Eagle last year for his retirement with his wife, Marjorie. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Marjorie Zimmerman of Eagle, three children in Denver; 10 stepchildren, including stepdaughters Carol Dahlinger and Jan and Bill Logan of Eagle, and Sharisse and Jim Alvis of Gypsum, 24 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
