Mrs. A.V. Whittaker, mother of Gordon Whittaker of Eagle was buried last Thursday in Flagler.
Mrs. Whittaker, who was 71 at the time of her death, became ill in Phoenix, Ariz. where she and her husband had been spending the winter, two weeks before her death. At her request, they returned to their Colorado home, where she passed away.
The Whittakers have spent several summers here, and have many friends in the vicinity.
Gordon Whittaker, his wife and two daughters, Mary Ann and Jo Ann attended the services.
Mrs. Whittaker is also survived by a daughter, Alice Fruhling of Flagler and three other grandchildren, Bill, Jerry and Jack Whittaker of Eagle.
