Grand Junction left this earth too
early in an auto accident on the
morning of June 13, 2012.
Brandon was born on November
12, 1993, to Patrick and Susan
Overstreet Mills in Grand
Junction, Colorado. He was welc
o m e d h o m e b y b i g b r o t h e r
Aaron, who actually gave him his
name.
Brandon loved life and all the adventures it had to offer. Even at a
young age his passion shined through at the age of four he would
imitate the sprinklers in the yard, at six to eight years old it became
tornados and weather he would even be tornado Brandon on occasion.
Brandon attended elementary and middle school at Holy Family
before moving on to Grand Junction High School where he
graduated with honors last month and was a member of the golf
team. He had enrolled at Colorado Mesa University for the fall, with
plans of studying medicine or psychology; yet another true testament
to his constant desire to help people. As he grew older his interest
became more grown up with him he was very politically and
community minded. He loved fishing, tying flies and fly fishing,
golf, skiing, target shooting, and boating at Lake Powell. Hobbies he
shared with friends and family even included recently taking mom
to go target shooting. His winter weekends were ski trips with dad
covering nearly every ski slope in Colorado. Brandon never met a
stranger and had a heart of gold.
He leaves behind his father, Patrick Mills of Grand Junction, Colorado;
mother, Susan Overstreet of Grand Junction, Colorado, and
brother, Aaron Mills of Grand Junction, Colorado; as well as his
extended family and many friends. Brandon Mills is also survived
by his loving step-mother, Doris (Stepp) Mills of Grand Junction;
