Funeral services for former Eagle County rancher Roy. W. SHERWOOD were held Jan. 28 at the Evergreen Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, Wash.
SHERWOOD, 80, died Jan. 26 at Vancouver.
He was born Aug. 25, 1897 in Valparaiso, Ind.
He came to Eagle County to ranch in 1919, until he recently moved to Washington. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret SHERWOOD of Vancouver; two sons, Thomas G. SHERWOOD of Vancouver and Paul SHERWOOD of Lovett, Tex.; a brother Wallace SHERWOOD of Union Mills, Ind.; and a sister, Ruth KAUFFMAN, of Parma, Ohio. Survivors also include eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Vancouver.
