Eberhart
January 18, 1930 – January 30, 2013
After spending 83 years with his
loving family and friends, William
J Eberhart “Bill”, Grand
Junction, Colorado returned to his
Heavenly Father on January 30,
2013.
Bill was born on January 18,
1930, in Newark, NJ. He married
the love of his life, Jo Anne on
April 3, 1958. Together they
raised four children. He served in
t h e K o r e a n W a r o n t h e U S S
Yorktown. He loved flying and
loved helping with search and
rescue. Bill was an entrepreneur
at heart, having owned several
businesses in Colorado Springs
and Alamosa, before retiring back
to Grand Junction.
Bill joins his father and mother,
W i l l i a m J . E b e r h a r t S r . a n d
Penelope, and his brothers, Harry
and John. He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne; his sons, Steve
(Edythe) Eberhart, and Robert (Trish) Eberhart, and daughters,
Cheryl (Dennis) O'Dowd, and Belinda (Louis) Toth; ten grandchil -
dren and five great-grandchildren; his brother, Gardner (Donna)
Eberhart; sister, Norma (Jim) Miller and several nephews and
nieces, all that loved "Uncle Billy".
Bill was a man of character who was filled with love and left an
imprint on so many lives. He was a practical joker who loved hi s
adventurous shortcuts. He was a great family man and was a spar k
to everyone. He will truly be missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mor tuary,
2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, CO., at 4:00 p.m. on Febru -
ary 9, 2013.

Verda Fitzpatrick
July 13, 1930 – January 29, 2013
Verda Fitzpatrick died January
29, 2013, at St. Mary's Hospital at
the age of 82.

McKeighan on July 13, 1930, in
Peetz, CO. Four sisters preceded
her in death.
She married Felix Kloberdanz
on November 6, 1947 in Sterling,
CO and they had three children together. They were married 29
years. She married Karl Fitzpatrick of Grand Junction, CO in 19 78
and was married for 24 years until his death.
Verda had unconditional love for her children. Her home was a
priority and she kept it beautifully decorated and clean. She v olunteered
at her church as head of the prayer chain and as a greet er.
What people thought of her was characterized by statements like ,
"such a classy lady" or "I just love your Mom, she is so sweet".
Her heart's desire was that people would know "that God is re al,
He loves us with an unconditional love and that Jesus Christ is the
way to Him and eternal life". She prayed fervently for people t o
know that.
She is survived by two sons, Sam and Mike Kloberdanz and
daughter, Virginia McKay of Grand Junction. She was blessed with
three grand and four great-grand children.
A funeral will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction
on Thursday, February 7th, at 10:00 a.m. With a family gra veside
service at the Cedarcrest Cemetery in Collbran, CO.
