Roger B. Valdez, 64, Montrose, died Jan. 31,
2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction.
Visitation will be from noon to 12:50 p.m. Tuesday
at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel. Services
will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, followed
by burial at Delta Municipal Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Lupe; two sons,
Roger Jr. of Lindsay, Calif. and Erik of Montrose;
one daughter, Renee Cornejo of Montrose; two
brothers, John of Delta and Edward of Acton, Calif.;
two sisters, Dee Martinez of Cory and Gerri
Duran of Delta; 12 grandchildren; and three stepgreat-
grandchildren.
