June G. Hotovec, age 92, of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully
on Sunday, February 3, 2013.
June was born on June 7, 1920, in West Bend, Iowa to Frank an d
May Stearns. She married Clarence Hotovec on March 25, 1940.
June was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Carolyn
Hotovec; four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by daughter,
Kathryn (Harlan) Bengston; Doris (Bill) Stubbs, and Delores
(Charles) Edgington; sons, John (Ann) Hotovec; Douglas (Dina)
Hotovec; Dennis (Patty) Hotovec; Jeffrey (Kathy) Hotovec, an d
Thom (Michael) Hotovec-Kocan; four sisters, Joy Sorenson; Connie
Kraft; Rachel Freeman, and Jackie Hudson; 22 grandchildren; 30
great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
There will be a viewing at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00
p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE,
Albuquerque, NM.
June was a member of Sangre De Christo in Albuquerque. She en -
joyed singing with Sweet Adelines, quilting, sewing, gardening
roses and irises and being with her family. The memories of her
make us all smile.
Burial will be at a later date in Grand Junction, Colorado.
