Mary Jacqueline Thompson was
born on April 10, 1922, in El
Rena, Oklahoma. She was the
daughter of William and Nannie
Wilson.
Mary was a Grand Valley resident
for 80 years,. She attende d
schools in Grand Junction. She
retired from City Market as a checker. She enjoyed square danci ng,
bowling, and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed trips to Mesa,
Arizona.
Mary is survived by her son, Bill (Patricia) Thompson; grandc hildren,
Zane (Lori) Thompson, and Orrin (Dava) Thompson, an d
great-grandchildren, Afton, Brandon, Cameron, and Chelsea Thompson.
A graveside service will be held for Mary on Saturday, February 9,
2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Calvary Section of Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Callahan-Edf ast
Mortuary.
