Gerald V. Myers, age 97, of
Grand Junction, CO, went to be
with the Lord on February 4,
2013.
He was born to Vance and Leah
(Pierce) Myers on March 31,
1915, in Oshkosh, NE. He married
the love of his life, June Farhney
on March 8, 1936, in Delta,
CO. They had 77 wonderful years
together and were blessed with three children.
Gerald is survived by his wife, June Myers of CO; his daughte r,
Janet (Fred) Greenberg of NJ; his son, Jerry (Fae) Myers of CO; his
grandchildren, Tim (Linda) Greenverg of NJ; Kevin (Sabrina)
Greenberg of CA; Vic (Troy) Myers of CO; Tammy (Gary) Harper
of CO; eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchi ldren;
his sisters, Helan Parks of CO; Ethel (Bud) Brown of CO; his
brother, Vern Myers of CO; and his sisters-in-law, Doris and
Katherine Myers of CO. He is preceded in death by his son, Phi l
Myers; his brothers, Robert, Harry and Glen Myers and his granddaughter,
Susan Greenberg.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at
11:00 a.m. at Victory Life Church, located at 2066 Highway 6 & 50,
Fruita, CO.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mesa Funeral Service.
