Anne, as she was affectionately known to her many friends and acquaintances, came to Minturn with her parents at the age of 5 years and spent the remainder of her life time there. She attended gtrade school in Minturn and graduated from the high school there.

In January, 1930 she was united in marriage to William O. Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Wilson of Minturn and to this union was born one daughter, Joyce, now a student in Minturn high school.

To know Anne was to love her. She was always of a sunny disposition, even when she was not feeling too well, and could always find a ray of sunshine in the darkest cloud. Her ability always to smile whether things went right or wrong, and her good word for everyone won for her a host of lasting friends. She gave freely of her time and service, and served on many volunteer committees. She was active in many civic affairs, and served for many years on election boards. Anne also belonged to many social clubs where she was always a favorite.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, BIll, her daughter, Joyce, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh C. Young, and a sister, Mrs. A.F. Guy, all of Minturn, and a large number of other relatives and friends who sorrowfully gathered to pay final tribute to her at funeral services conducted by Rev. C.E. Kessler from St. Patrick's Catholic church in Minturn on Friday afternoon, Mch. 21, 1947. Miss Annie High of Minturn sang beautifully two songs, "My Rosary" and "What Could My Jesus Do More," accompanied by Marguerts [sic] Knott at the organ.

Anne was laid to rest in Riverview cemetery in Minturn amid a profusion of flowers, including many beautiful red roses which she loved so well.
