William A. Wilson dies

WIlliam A. Wilson, a former Eagle County resident who had recently retired and moved to Hotchkiss died Wednesday, He was 57.

Wilson was born on Sept. 7, 1949. He moved to Eagle County in the 1970s and worked for J.L. Viele Construction for many years.

Wilson loved fishing, camping, skiing and spending time with his family, family members said.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie; daughter, Becky; and son Patrick.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Eagle Ranch Pavilion.

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund will be opened at Alpine Bank in Eagle. THose interested in donating can talk to Michelle at Alpine Bank.
