WILLIAM L. WILSON BURIED SUNDAY Funeral services were conducted Oct. 25 for William Llewlyn Wilson who died in the Salida hospital Oct. 21. The Reverend George Fitzgerald officiated at the services held in the Mintun Presbyterian Church. Born March 12, 1889 in Trinidad to Martha Jones Wilson and Harvey Wilson, he was married on June 20, 1911 to Miss Katherine Pedsen and came with his bride to Minturn. Mr. Wilson had been employed by the D&RG railroad since 1910 and had recently retired. Mr. Wilson was an active member of Eagle Lodge 43, AM and FM, Minturn, being Past Master of that lodge and was affiliated with the Colorado Consistory No. 1; Denver and El Jebel Shrine, Denver. He was twice elected Master of the lodge and the Eastern Star honored him as charter member and awarded him patron for three years. His Masonic activities were supplemented by his participation in the Neighbors of Woodcraft and the Rio Grande Veterans Club. Masonic graveside services were conducted by Past Master James Collins and other members of No. 43; pallbearers were Joe N. Clark, Harry Garside, Harry Nottingham, John Caddy, John BUrke and Lynn Walker. Survivors are his wife, Katherine; one son, WIlliam O., one daughter, Mrs. Nedra Hoza; two brothers, John B. and Powell; two sisters, Mrs. W.W. Lewis and Mrs. Phil London; six grandchidren; and eight great-grandchildren.
