Archie “Willard” Robbins, 84,
Grand Junction, died Feb. 5, 2013, at
his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday
at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Interment will follow at Crown
Point Cemetery.
Survivors include his son, Stephen
of Grand Junction; one sister, Dorothy
Robbins of Grand Junction; and
four grandchildren.

Archie "Willard" Robbins, 84,
passed away in Grand Junction on
February 5th.
Willard worked for the DRG&W
Railroad and as a Maintenance
Supervisor for the Colorado Army
National Guard. He served with
the 1-157th Infantry Regiment
during WWII and after the war with the 1-157th Artillery Bn. Wi llard
retired from the National Guard in 1987, after more than 4 0
years of service, retiring as a CW4.
Willard lived and farmed most of his life in the Grand Junction and
Fruita area. He was a frequent visitor to the local farm auctio ns and
was a member of the Moose Lodge. Willard enjoyed raising animals,
fishing, farming, and taking care of his friends and family. He
was always willing to lend assistance to friends and family in need.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Sexton (Robbins ),
his parents, Margaret and Archie W. Robbins; his children, Donna
Brady (Robbins), Tommy Robbins, and Walter Robbins. He is survived
by his sister, Dorthy Jean Robbins, and his son, Steve Ro bbins,
both of Grand Junction. Willard was very proud of his gra ndchildren,
Kimberley Brady, Brian Brady, Tyler Robbins, and
Pusanisa Robbins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Febr uary
16th at the Callahan-Edfast Chapel. Graveside services will fol low
at Crown Point Veteran's Cemetery (23 1/2 Rd. and I 1/2 Rd.).
