Jennifer Lara Bowman, 40, Pueblo, died June 22, 2012, in Denver.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary, followed by burial at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Survivors include her parents, Timothy Rotunno of Grand Junction
and Janyce Rotunno of Pueblo; one brother, Taylor Peterson of
Grand Junction; and two sisters, Shauna Shaw of Magnolia, Texas,
and Jamie Rotunno of Rangely.

She was born on December 12,
1971, in Denver, CO. She grew
up in Palisade, CO, graduating
from Palisade High School in
1990. Jennifer was always active,
loved the outdoors and animals, and spent many years showing both
dogs and horses. She and her horse “the Lass” were active in 4H
growing up. Jennifer attended Mesa State College, graduating in
1994, with a Bachelors degree in Parks and Recreation Management.
Jennifer was the owner of Bowman RV Storage in Pueblo, CO.
This enabled her to work from home, working in her yard and garden
alongside her precious dogs, “Boo” and “Skeeter”, while allowing
her to interact daily with many different people. She never
knew a stranger and everyone commented on her wonderful smile,
infectious laugh, and sweet nature.
Jennifer is survived by her father, Tim Rotunno of Grand Junction,
and her mother, Janyce Rotunno of Pueblo. She is also survived by
her sisters, Shauna Shaw of Magnolia, TX, and Jamie Rotunno of
Rangely, CO, as well as her brother, Taylor Peterson of Grand
Junction. Jennifer adored her three nieces, Zoe and Sydney Shaw of
Magnolia, TX, and Brooklyn Griggs of Rangley. Also surviving are
her beloved grandmother, Lois Sorter of Grand Junction; many
aunts, uncles, and cousins, including her much loved Uncle Julian
Ubillos of Pueblo; uncles, Bill (Janell) Ogle of Grand Junction; Jim
(Kris) Ogle of Clifton, and Richard Rotunno of Fort Collins; Aunts,
Teri (Dale) Mingleton and MaryAnn (Barney) Caranta of Denver.
Jennifer’s father, Stanley Ticen preceded her in death as did her
much loved Aunt Pat Ubillos.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, at 1:00 p.m. at
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction, with interment in the
Oddfellows Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held in
Pueblo on Sunday evening, June 30, at Victory Life Ministries.
