following a brief illness.
She was born on September 5,

attended local schools and graduated in 1941 from Grand Junction
High School, where she excelled academically, was a member of
several organizations and enjoyed many happy times with the "Semper
Amicus" group of friends.
She attended Mesa College, majoring in business and minoring in
art, and graduated in 1943. She married Charles M. Etenburn on
August 14, 1945 (V-J Day) in Denver, Colorado. He passed away in
1987. Virginia was an executive secretary with the Public Service
Company of Colorado in Grand Junction, transferring to Boulder
while her husband pursued his education at the University of Colorado,
and then transferring to Montrose before returning to Grand
Junction to become a homemaker. She was a member of Beta Sigma
Phi and the Order of Eastern Star for more than 60 years, and a
member of the First Congregational Church for more than 50 years.
Virginia was interested in current events, music, the arts, Bronco

and gracious, and possessed a ready sense of humor and a keen intellect.
Her greatest legacy was her love for and devotion to her
family, all of whom adored her and miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by beloved relatives, including her parents;
grandparents, Phil and Ida Boller and William and Emma
Cording; uncle, Raymond Robert Boller; her husband; and her lifelong
