Evelyn Kuhn passed away at St.
Mary's Hospital on Tuesday, February
12. She was 77 years old.
Evelyn was born to Russel Janssen
and Edna (Tournear) Janssen
in Quincy, Illinois, where she
spent most of her younger years
and met and married the love her
life, Ralph Kuhn. Evelyn and
Ralph have lived in the Grand
Valley for 42 years. Evelyn enjoyed listening to Gospel music a nd
cat fishing, and believed in unconditional love to everyone.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Mont e
Miller, and one brother, John Janssen. She is survived by her spouse,
Ralph A. Kuhn; two sons, Mark Harris and Rick Harris; three
daughters, Chonnie Cutsforth, Tammy Grogaw, and Theresa Miller,
and one sister, Darlene Verheyen; as well as 12 grandchildren a nd
18 great-grandchildren to cherish her memories.
A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2013, fro m 6 -
8:00 p.m. at Martin Mortuary. A Service of Remembrance will be
held at 11:00 a.m. the following day, February 20, 2013, at Vic tory
Life Church in Fruita, Colorado. Burial will take place at Vete rans
Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donatation to Evelyn’s Memorial Fund ca n be
made at the Sooper Credit Union, 2440 Patterson Road, Grand
Junction, Colorado 81505.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin Mortuary.

Hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Martin Mortuary. Services
will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Victory Life Church.
Burial will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; two sons, Mark Harris
and Rick Harris; three daughters, Chonnie Cutsforth, Tammy Grogan
and Theresa Miller; one sister, Darlene Verheyen; 12 grandchildren;
and 18 great-grandchildren.
