Longtime Steamboat Springs resident Frederick (Ric) Burr died Jan. 13, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn; his cherished sons Alex and Jeff, and his devoted sister Andrea. From ranch hand to restaurant owner, his many Steamboat friends fondly recall his multiple talents and varied and colorful career path. He will be missed and lovingly remembered for his great kindness and charm, generosity and sparkling humor.
A remembrance of Ric will be held for his family and friends from 2 to 5 p.m. March 23 at the Tugboat in Ski Time Square.
