Longtime Routt County resident Stanley Miles Carter passed away Jan. 30, 2007. He was 54.
He was born Jan. 17, 1953.
He had the enjoyment of making people laugh. He would say, "I'm not afraid of anybody, but I get along with everybody." He will be missed.
Stan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.
He was preceded in death by a son, Charles "Buster" Carter.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of Challis, Idaho; son, Brian "Buck" Carter of Pocatello, Idaho; daughter, Jamie Lynn Risley of Reno, Nev.; brothers, Tom of Columbia Falls, Mont., Kenny, of Routt County, and Randy, of Elko, Nev.; and parents, Tim and Lila Carter of Wrightwood, Calif. Stanley was blessed with four grandchildren.
