Ben Salvador Lobato, 76, Fruita, died Feb. 19, 2013, at Grand
Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Services are pending with Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mr. Lobato was a gas plant operator.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three sons, Fred of Pomona, Calif.,
and Ron Padilla and Randy Padilla, both of Fruita; four daughters,
Valerie Padilla of Los Angeles, Carol Perez of Upland, Calif.,
Tammie Padilla of Albuquerque, N.M., and Diane Padilla of Rifle;
two brothers, Ben of Grand Junction and Fred of Colby, Kan.; one
sister, Della Gilcrease of Grand Junction; 18 grandchildren; and
five great-grandchildren.
