Loma, died Feb. 23, 2013, at St.
Mary’s Hospital.
Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday
at Veterans Memorial Cemetery
of Western Colorado.
Survivors include her husband,
O. “Russ;” and one brother,
Richard Ross of Falmouth,
Maine.

Carolyn Jean (Munro) Dallman
was born February 22, 1927, in
Richmond, Vermont. She graduated
from high school in 1946.
She enlisted in the Women's Accepted
Volunteer Enlistment Service
(WAVES) on March 21,
1949. Her basic training was at
Great Lakes, Illinois. From there she went to Sand Point Naval Air
Station in Seattle, Washington. It was there that she met and married
her husband, Russ. In April 1951, she transferred to Arlington,
VA. Upon her discharge on April 4, 1952, she worked for the Navy
Department, Bureau of Ships till August 1954, when she moved to
Denver, Colorado with her husband and worked for the National Bureau
of Standards until her retirement in May 1982.
She enjoyed bowling, ATVing, and was a postcard collector and
corresponded with other postcard collectors. She loved to travel and
had the opportunity of traveling to all the 50 states.
She is survived by her husband, Russ, of 63 years, and a
half-brother in Portland, ME.
A graveside service will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery,
2830 Riverside Parkway Grand Junction, CO on Thursday
February 28, 2013, at 10:00 a.m.
