2013, at his home.
Visitation is at 5 p.m., with a
rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church
in Fruita. Services are at 10 a.m.
Friday at the church. Interment
is at New Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Gallegos was an auto
body repairman.
Survivors include his wife,
Esther; three sons, Randy Sr.
and Nestor, both of Grand
Junction, and Mark D. of Denver;
three daughters, Donna
Standish of Grand Junction,
Deb Aure of Delta and Char
Carbajal of Westminster; one
sister, Lizzie Montoya of Murray,
Utah; 16 grandchildren;
38 great-grandchildren; and 13
great-great-grandchildren.

Eloy was born in Agua Ramon, Colorado in April,1929, to Diego
and Ignasia Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his first wife,
Mary Mae (Marquez) after 55 years of marriage; one brother and
four sisters.
He was an auto body repair man by trade.
Eloy was a man who loved to have his family around and tell stories
about his life. He loved to work in the garden full of beautiful
flowers, bushes, trees and vegetables. He was a man that loved to
laugh and make others laugh with jokes and stories.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; three sons, Randy Sr. (Betty)
Gallegos; Nestor (Patricia) Gallegos, and Mark D. Gallegos; three
daughters, Donna Standish, Char (Rudy) Carbajal, and Debbie
(Steve) Avre, and one sister, Lizzie Montoya; 16 grandchildren; 38
great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
