MRS. BESSIE WISE DIED SUNDAY
Mrs. Bessie Wise of Minturn died Sunday of cancer, following a two-year illness.
Bessie Evalynia Metheney was born at Studley, Kans. Sept. 1, 1919 to Blanche and Harry Metheney, and had lived in Minturn since 1942.
She was married to Glen C. Wise January 7, 1935 at Smith Center, Kansas. She was baptized in the Christian Church at Stockton, in 1937.
Funeral services were held in Minturn Wednesday afternoon in the Assembly of God Church, with Rev. George Gross officiating. Burial was in the Minturn cemetery directed by Bowman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her husband; three children, Glen C. Jr., 19; Bobby L., 17 and Yvonne, 13; her parents, Blanche Shelfler, Denver; and Harry Metheney, of Eagle and one brother, Allan of Eagle.
