GUY WOLVERTON DIED IN CALIFORNIA JUNE 15
Guy E. Wolverton, a veteran of World War I, died in a Stockton (California) hospital June 15, 1965 after weeks of serious illness.
Mr. Wolverton was born Mar. 30, 1886 at Bloodland, Mo., and at the age of 16 came with his parents to Eagle, Colo., where he resided for 30 years. In the early '30s he moved to Los Angeles, Calif. and a few years later moved to Palo Alto and then to Pleasant Hill. He never married.
Private funeral services were held at Oak Park Hills Chapel in Pleasant Hill June 18 and burial was in Memory Gardens near Pleasant Hill.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. May E. Olesen of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Grace Oleson of Dublin, Calif. and Eagle, Colo.; and a brother, Ralph of San Jose; two nieces, Mrs. Wylma Brice of Dublin and Mrs. Gladys Nunn of Gypsum, Colo.; and two nephews, Robert Olesen of Eagle and Charles Wolverton of San Jose, Calif.
