Larry Dean Winograsky died Oct. 24, 2008, at his home in Milner, surrounded by his family. He was 69.
Larry was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Jane and Albert Winograsky. Larry and his family moved to Mount Harris in 1943, where Larry's father worked in the mines. He grew up in the Mount Harris area, and later, the family moved to Milner after the mines closed down.
Larry married his wife, Judy Lindley, on Sept. 25, 1958. Larry worked in numerous professions. He was a master electrician, pump installer, house builder and water system engineer. He was a brilliant man whom many consulted to solve their building, electrical and water problems. Larry enjoyed camping with his family and friends, fishing, GMC and Chevy trucks, building stock cars in his younger days, telling jokes, and a good laugh. He loved his family, and enjoyed the family's large gatherings and meals.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his three daughters, Kathy Main and husband John, Lynn Grant and husband Rick, and Pennie Landon and husband Randy; his mother, Jane Winograsky; his two brothers, John Winograsky and wife Carol, and Dave Winograsky and wife Pat; his grandchildren, Jamie Carbone and husband Chris, Katie Hallman, Cali Grant, Nick Grant, Spencer Landon and Abby Landon; and his great-grandchild, Anthony Carbone. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert.
Interment took place at Clark Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life Oct. 28 at Saddleback Ranch.
