Kathaleen Diane Main died Nov. 15, 2008, after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was 49.
She was born June 29, 1959, in Steamboat Springs, to Larry and Judy Winograsky. Kathy grew up in Steamboat Springs and later moved to Clark. She married John Main on March 25, 1988.
Kathy was a mother, property manager, artist and historian. Kathy devoted her life to her family. She had many talents including pottery, quilting and landscaping, and she mastered anything she set her mind to. Kathy enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and her horses, dogs and chickens. She researched and wrote two books on the history of the Clark area. As a community member, Kathy maintained the Clark Cemetery. Kathy enjoyed life and found joy in almost everything she did.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Winograsky.
She is survived by her husband, John Main; mother, Judy Winograsky; son, Garrett Main; her two daughters, Jamie Carbone and her husband Chris, and Katie Hallman and her significant other Gary Warchol; her two sisters, Lynn Grant and her husband Rick, and Pennie Landon and her husband Randy; grandson Anthony Carbone; nephews Nick and Spencer (Splinter); nieces Cali and Abby; and her grandmother, Jane Winograsky.
A celebration of Kathy's life was held Nov. 19 at Saddleback Ranch. Interment took place at the Clark Cemetery.
