GEORGE WOODHOUSE DIED THIS MORNING

The body of George Woodhouse was found in front of his home in Gypsum, around 8 a.m. this morning by W. L. Bindley.

Apparently death was from a heart attack.

The body was taken to Bowman Funeral Chapel pending arrangements for the funeral.

Mr. Woodhouse was the son of Minnie Woodhouse, who has been ill in Denver for several months.

MILITARY FUNERAL FOR GEORGE WOODHOUSE

Eagle River Valley Post 150, American Legion, Gypsum was in charge of military funeral services for George Woodhouse, 62, who died Feb. 26 of a heart attack at his home in Gypsum.

The service, held Sunday afternoon, were [sic] in the American Legion Hall, with the sermon given by Rev. Delbert Paulson of the Methodist Church. Burial was in the Gypsum cemetery under the direction of Bowman Funeral Chapel of Eagle.

George Woodhouse was born in South Dakota, Oct. 2, 1890, the son of George and Minnie Woodhouse, and had been a resident of Gypsum for the past 25 years.

He was a veteran of World War I.

Both his parents preceded him in death and he is survived by a brother Stewart of Denver; one niece, Mrs. Homer Gray of Denver and two nephews, Jim Woodhouse of Rifle and Frank Towndrow of Gypsum, who with their families were all present at the funeral.
