She was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Danville, Penn., the daughter of the late John and Marie (Perry) Ward.

The joys of Rose's life in her later years were her Catholic faith, bingo, the Cleveland Indians and her friends and family, especially her granddaughters, Jesse and Hannah.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Joe, Bobby, George, William "Bump," and Donald Ward.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Susan and her husband, Stuart Fishman, of Steamboat Springs; granddaughters, Jesse and Hannah; sister, Theresa Mazol of Danville, Penn.; and sisters-in-law, Anna Jean Ward of Danville, Penn., and Donna Ward of Florida.
