Virgie Lucille Bunn left her family here on Earth to be with her family in heaven May 3, 2007, after residing in a nursing home in Levelland, Texas, for almost three years. She was 86.
Lucille was born July 12, 1920, in Durant, Okla., to John D. Bates and Beulah Richardson. She married Quincy Earl Bunn in 1946. From this marriage, one son, Gary, was born. The couple resided in Hayden for about two years.
Lucille lived in Texas the last seven years of her life. Prior to that, she lived in Utah for 53 years. Lucille enjoyed painting and playing games, but her main interest was Eastern Star, for which she was a very active and faithful member for 51 years.
Lucille was very witty and outgoing, with a great sense of humor.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; and her son, Gary.
She is survived by two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held May 9, 2007, at the Hayden Cemetery, with Pastor Janet Babish officiating.
