Judith Ruth (Simonson) Senor passed away peacefully at her home
in New Castle, CO December 18, 2012.
She was born July 19, 1944 in Glenwood Springs, CO to Fred and
Beatrice Simonson. She grew up and lived her entire life in New
Castle.
Judy was a fun loving, compassionate friend whose generosity
touched many lives in her time with us. She could always be found
by her laugh while at choir functions volunteering at Kathryn Senor
Elementary, and with her friends.
Judith is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Monte (Kathi) of
New Castle, CO, and Gerliyn (Brad) of Montrose, CO; grandchildren,
Cameron, Colten, Bryce, Garrett and Katelynn; brother,
Charles (Scherry) Simonson of New Castle, CO, and Larry (Virginia)
Schmueser of New Castle, CO. She is preceded in death by
her parents and nephew, Kirk Simonson.
A viewing will be held Friday, December 21, 2012, from 5 - 7:00
p.m. at the Farnum Holt Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood
Springs. A memorial service will be held at New Castle Kathryn Senor
Elementary School Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
Immediately following the service the family and friends are invited
to share memories of Judy over coffee and desserts.
