Elva Kay (Adolf) Cooper, age
69, of Sun City West, Arizona
died on January 6, 2013, after a
brief illness from cancer.
She was born to Gottlieb and
Mabel (Gramm) Adolf on Octo -
ber 22, 1943, in Burlington, CO,
where she was raised and gradua
t e d f r o m B u r l i n g t o n H i g h
School.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Cooper of Sun City West,
AZ; brother, Jim Adolf of Greeley, CO; son, Lance L. Bartholomew
of Denver, CO; daughter, Laura Colson of Amarillo, TX, and a
step-son, Nick Cooper of Loveland, CO. She has two grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her
mother-in-law, Betty Cooper, and brother-in-law, Jim Cooper of
Grand Junction, CO.
Graveside service will be on Saturday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m . at
the New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
