Marjorie B. McConaha passed away peacefully on Saturday, December
22, 2012, at the age of 79.
She was born May 4, 1933, in Grand Junction to Henry Martin and
Bernice Graig (Weir) Fisher. She graduated from Grand Junction
High in 1951. Born and raised in Colorado, Marge loved the seasons
and the outdoors, and everything about Colorado. As a young
adult she moved to Denver to raise her family where she worked as
a bookkeeper and sold real estate. Her hobbies included sewing and
competitive dance roller-skating, but her true passion was for her
children and grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald
Clinton McConaha, and sisters, Fern B. Cook and Audrey Carvallo.
She is survived by her children, Rebecca J. Norberg, Russell
(Sherry) McConaha, and Lorraine (Mitch) McCormick, and her
grandchildren, Shannon McCormick, Logan McCormick and Jonah
McConaha.
Services will be held at the LDS Church, 9800 Foothills Canyon
Blvd., Highlands Ranch 80129 at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 28,
2012. Interment will be at Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery 8505
W. 27th Ave., Lakewood, CO.
