JoAnn Brewer Schow, 77, Grand Junction, died April 3, 2013,
at her home.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of
Jesus Chirst of Latter-day Saints, 2235 Kingston Road. A service is
at noon. Interment will follow in Salt Lake City.
Ms. Schow was a music teacher.
Survivors inlucde one son, Tom of Taylorsville, Utah; two daughters,
Carolyn Allen of Sandy, Utah, and Lee Ann Bellum of Sedalia;
two brothers, Allen Brewer of Minneapolis and Michael Brewer
of Murray, Utah; two sisters, Carol Mooney of British Columbia,
Canada, and Sharren Brewer of Sandy; 10 grandchildren; and eight
great-grandchildren.

JoAnn Brewer Schow, 77, from
Grand Junction, passed away on
April 3, 2013, from breast cancer.
Viewing and funeral services
will be held at the LDS church at
2235 Kingston Rd. on Monday,
April 8. The viewing will be from
10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with funeral
services immediately following
at 12:00 noon.
JoAnn was born November 2, 1935, in Salt Lake City, UT, and
was the eighth of 11 children. She attended school at Granite High
School, and went on to complete her Bachelor's degree in Elemen -
tary Education from the University of Utah. She taught piano and
voice lessons for over 40 years, and was involved in the Music
Teachers Association, Music Club, Senior Theater and P.E.O. She
was a talented singer and piano player.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Mae
Brewer, and six of her siblings. She is survived by her sisters, Carol
Mooney, and Sharren Brewer; brothers, Allen Brewer and Michael
Brewer; three children, Carolyn Allen (Tad), LeeAnn Bellum
(Greig), and Tom Schow (Pamela); ten grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National
MS Society, Colorado Chapter, or Hospice of Western Colo -
rado.
