Mildred M. De Kruger passed
away at Family Health West on
March 1, 2013. She was 95 years
old.
She was born in Craig, Nebraska
on July 25, 1917, to Thomas
and Lura (Park) Constable.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, two brothers, and a sister.
She was raised in Kanorado, Kansas,
where she graduated from school.
She married William H. “Bill” De Kruger on July 31, 1933. They
lived in Buena Vista where they had two sons, William La Verne in
1935 and Laurence A. in 1936. They moved to Loma, CO in April
1937, where they farmed and had a dairy. Bill passed away in 1980.
In 1981 Mildred bought a house and moved to Fruita.
She loved playing pinnacle and was long time member of Joly
Sixteen and Hi Bidders. She volunteered at Family Health West for
many years, five of which she was the activities director. She also
volunteered at the Fruita Thrift Shop.
She is survived by her sons, La Verne (Janice) and Laurence
(Jeanne); eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and eight
great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita on
Thursday, March 7th, at 2:00 p.m.

Mildred M. DeKruger, 95, Loma, died March 1, 2013, at Family
Health West.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New Elmwood Cemetery
in Fruita.
Survivors include two sons, LaVerne and Lawrence, both of
Loma; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six greatgreat-
grandchildren.
