Daniel Aranda, 58, Grand Junction, died April 13, 2013, at his
home.
Services are pending with Palisade Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen; one son, Daniel Dwain Jr. of
Grand Junction; two brothers, Anthony Lee Jr. and Dennis Guy; and
one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his
parents, Anthony Lee and Elvera
O. Aranda.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen
Aranda; his son, Daniel D.
Aranda, Jr. (Sandy); his grandson,
Alexander; his step-granddaughter,
Abby Gail Blom, and another
grandchild on the way (expected
on his birthday); his brothers,
Anthony Lee Aranda (Theresa);
Dennis Guy Aranda ( Jody); as
well as numerous aunts, uncles,
b r o t h e r s a n d s i s t e r s - i n - l a w ,
nieces, and nephews, all of whom
loved him.
Danny grew up in Pueblo, Colorado
and graduated from Pueblo
County High School. He served in
the Marine Corps, then was hired
on with the phone company in
1978. Danny saw the company
change over five times before his retirement, on April 22, 2013 ;
thirty-five year plus, as a ” Century Link” employee.
Retirement celebration and memorial service will be held this Friday,
April 19, 2013, beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Aztecas Family
Mexican Restaurant, in Grand Junction, 603 US Hwy 50.
